Sandra Bamford
Founder & Holistic Funeral Director
Always with reverence and love, we will transfer your deceased loved one into our care. During this time, we provide gentle body care using essential oils such as clove, tea tree, or frankincense, all known for their antibacterial skin care properties. The body is then shrouded or dressed, placed in a simple cardboard cremation pod and transferred to the crematorium.
We register the death with Birth, Deaths and Marriages and order the certificate on your behalf. Wherever possible, we arrange to bring the ashes of your loved one home to you.
All of this is carried out for a realistic fixed price.
Newspaper notices, viewings or other ancillary services are not included in the fixed price, however, we can certainly help, assist and support wherever possible.
While we are happy to serve families in this way, we encourage you to consider holding a remembrance or celebration of your loved one’s life. Whether it be a simple family meal held in honour of the deceased, a quiet moment where loved ones gather and light a candle, or a larger memorial service, this can be something you might want to arrange for yourselves. We believe that the death of a loved one is a hugely significant life event which needs to be acknowledged and witnessed in someway as part of the grieving journey.
We support you with joy and gratitude because we know our heart is always in the right place.
Love Sandra
